International PhD Positions in Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics at Aix-Marseille University, France

To make education accessible and affordable for its international students, the University of Aix-Marseille has established international doctoral positions in quantum chromodynamics of the network for the academic year 2022-2023.

The candidate will work in a calculation of Network QCD of the polarization contribution of the hadronic vacuum to the constant of the fine structure, under the direction of Antoine Géradin and Laurent Lellouch.

Founded in 1409, the University of Aix-Merseille is a public research university located in the Provence of Southern France. The University is organized around five main campuses located in AIX-en-Provence and Marseille, and is constantly classified among the 5 best universities in France. The University of Aix-Marseille enrolls about 80,000 students, including more than 10,000 international students from 128 countries.

Why choose to study at the University of Aix-Marseille? AMU students can also lead well -developed sports with more than 80 physical activities to which they have free access. AMU has produced many notable students in the fields of law, politics, business, science, academia and arts. AMU has the biggest budget of any academic institution in the Francophone world, with € 750 million.
